Post Compression Ejector
Post Compression Ejector
Leary’s Post Compression Ejector automates the removal of cartons that are not fully compressed and glued after a machine shutdown. This solution removes the human element and allows the operator to concentrate on getting the machine back up and running.
The Post Compression Ejector (PCE) is installed after the compression section, before the cartons are packed. When the machine restarts, it tracks the uncompressed cartons through the compression section to the PCE.
The solution’s patented technology separates the moving shingle stream and isolates the uncompressed cartons. Only those uncompressed cartons are removed yielding less waste, and allowing the remaining cartons to stream through to the packing section.
