CNC Lathe Machinist
W. H. Leary is excited about the opportunity to meet with you, and we hope you will consider joining our team as a full time CNC Lathe Machinist. In this role you will be responsible for manufacturing of various parts and fixtures in the Leary product portfolio. A strong understanding of machining principles, CNC machines, and precision measuring tools is required. Must be able to program, set up and run existing and brand-new parts. Able to work in a team environment as well as individually. An ability to adapt and focus to meet deadlines while maintaining a high quality of work is needed.
Your responsibilities as a CNC Lathe Machinist include the ability to:
- Set up/edit programs for CNC Lathe
- Program, set up, and run newly designed engineering parts
- Set up/edit programs for CNC Lathe
- Program, set up, and run newly designed engineering parts
- Meet or exceed production output goals
- Ensure quality of all machined parts
- Maintain production and quality records
- Make complex parts with close tolerances
- Capable of running one or more machines
- Set up and operate Doosan Lynx with Fanuc controls
- Participate in cross training across other machines
Your qualifications must consist of:
- Minimum two years CNC Lathe experience
- Use of CAM in prior role
- Ability to read and troubleshoot G code
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls
It would be great if you possess:
- Trade school training, or sufficient on the job training to perform primary duties
- Experience working with a Doosan machine
- Knowledge of how to use SolidCAM
- Experience operating CNC mills

Entry Level Technician
W. H. Leary is excited about the opportunity to meet with you, and we hope you will consider joining our team as a full time Entry Level Technician. In this role you will install and maintain our products both domestically and internationally. You will become familiar with all aspects of our product offering in order to properly identify, analyze, support, and resolve product failures.
Your responsibilities as a Entry Level Technician after on the job training include the ability to:
- Install our systems and upgrades
- Facilitate internal and external training sessions
- Perform testing of system orders, customer samples, and new products
- Follow up on a regular basis with any open or unresolved customer issues
- Recommend products and services to customers that best fit their need
- Provide technical phone support for both internal and external customers
- Utilize Goldmine for recording of customer interactions
- Fill out and submit work orders and expense forms in a timely manner
Your qualifications must consist of:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to troubleshoot in a calm and easy to understand manner
- The ability to travel Monday – Friday over 75% of the year
It would be great if you possess:
- Electrical and/or mechanical experience
- Experience in customer service
