Standard Warranty Policy: W. H. Leary Co., Inc. warrants to the user or purchaser of Leary products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of dispatch, provided the equipment is used and maintained in accordance with Leary’s instructions. The warranty period for mechanical (wearable) parts shall be six (6) months from the date of dispatch (e.g., including but not limited to valves, glue regulation units, motors, vacuum pumps, bearings, encoders, springs & nozzles, etc.) and for product transport belts it shall be two (2) months from the date of dispatch (e.g., including but not limited to vacuum belts and diverter ejector belts, etc.).
W. H. Leary Co., Inc. will repair or replace, at its discretion, any product that is found upon its inspection to be defective during the period prescribed above. On site Leary technician visits are not included as part of this warranty. The product must be shipped to Leary with a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. This can be obtained from any Leary customer service representative. Material returned without an RMA number may be refused.
This warranty does not apply to failures or defects occurring as a result of abuse, misuse, negligent repairs, corrosion, erosion, and normal wear and tear. For equipment serviced or repaired by W. H. Leary Co. Inc., this warranty covers only those components that were replaced at the time the equipment was serviced. This warranty does not extend to any product or part thereof which has been installed, operated, maintained, repaired, altered or used other than in conformity with Leary’s applicable instructions. Any unauthorized attempt to repair a product, or evidence of tampering or removal of seals or wiring will void this warranty. Damage to/failure of equipment caused by the use of non-Leary replacement parts will not be covered by this warranty.
Premium Warranty Policy: The premium warranty policy is valid for the first year with the activation of an iQ Remote Access license. The premium warranty policy includes the standard warranty policy and also includes remote troubleshooting support from Leary technicians that are available Monday through Friday during standard business hours (CST/CDT), excluding US holidays. Should Leary be unable to remotely diagnose a system issue, a technician will be provided on site. If the issue is deemed to be a Leary system issue, there will be no charge for the visit.
Product Support Period: From time to time, W. H. Leary Co., Inc. may choose discontinue a product from its product line. Leary will provide an advance discontinuation notice and will make every effort to provide a suitable upgrade path. For standard products, Leary offers standard support for a period of ten (10) years from date of manufacture. For custom-engineered solutions, Leary will support the product for a period of three (3) years. For third-party equipment, Leary will support the product(s) to the extent that they are supported by their own, respective manufacturer(s). During these periods, Leary will use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to provide service, support, and replacement parts or a suitable replacement item for such products.
Performance Guarantee: W. H. Leary Co., Inc. offers a performance guarantee with each system sold. Each system will operate to the normal specifications of the controller, valves, or delivery system. W. H. Leary Co., Inc. shall not be in default nor liable for any expense, loss or damage occasioned by a delay in performance due Leary’s or a third party’s equipment limitations (i.e. valves, rejection devices, etc.).
W. H. Leary Co., Inc. assumes no responsibility for the quality or performance of adhesive materials used with the equipment. This warranty does not extend to equipment damaged after date of shipment from Leary’s plant where the damage is not directly due to a defect in material or workmanship.
W. H. Leary Co., Inc. assumes no responsibility for loss of production time or downtime due to failures or defects in material or workmanship in the components used in Leary systems. The Leary Company shall not be liable to the buyer or user for any loss, damage, expense or costs whatsoever incurred or suffered by the buyer, user or by any third party whether direct or consequential arising out of a dispute or contractual tortious or other claim made or brought about against the buyer or user in connection with the equipment.
Cancellations / Returns: Restocking fees are based on a percentage (%) of the purchase order price. All equipment/material returns must be sent back to Leary within two (2) weeks from date of delivery.
Purchaser agrees to all Policies of Sale through the issuance of a purchase order number. System orders require a down payment due immediately upon receipt. Under no circumstances is down payment eligible for an early payment discount.
