Our combination controllers range from the most versatile to the simplest. Each controller comes equipped with our patented software technologies which ensure that you will deliver a defect free carton and increase production. On-Target™ technology is our automatic glue line compensation software. SureScan™ technology guarantees 100% inspection of all cartons. GapPro™ technology sets, measures and maintains the distance between cartons to increase production and prevent jams. RejectTrak™ technology takes the human element out of production. It tracks the exact single carton that has the defect and rejects only that carton. MasterLearn™ technology automatically 'learns' all rejection scanning stations and trigger-to-start distances.  | LS-4 Application & Detection This controller has the latest in application and detection technology from Leary. It has a simple to use software that allows you to produce quick and efficient make readies. The LS-4 is available with 4 valve outputs and 4 detection inputs. Also included is scanning for barcode / pharmacode and a large 15" remote color screen for easy viewing. All patterns have a separate trigger assignment ensuring that each failure or defect is properly identified. The LS-4 controller comes with our patented On-Target™, GapPro™, SureScan™ and RejectTrak™ Technologies. These features, along with other hardware and software functions, allow you to streamline your carton making parameters so you can make high quality cartons while minimizing downtime and waste.
LS-4 Combination Brochure |  | LS-9.16 Application & Detection Much like the LS-4's technology advancements, the LS-9.16 is a powerhouse for gluing and detection with high speed accuracy at 200,000 CPH and 650 m/min. Select the LS-9.16 if your inspection requirements are between 9-16 patterns with up to 8 valve outputs. This controller also has a large 15” remote color touch screen for easy viewing of carton production, failures and graphs. Each pattern has a separate trigger assignment to ensure that each failure or defect is properly identified. In addition to the 16 pattern input to the controller, there is a separate input for barcode detection. The speeds and power of the LS-9.16 capitalize on the patented On-Target™, GapPro™, SureScan™, RejectTrak™ along with 80+ years of built in Leary technologies to deliver only cartons that will meet your customer’s demands while minimizing your downtime and waste.
LS-9.16 Brochure |  | LS-9.24 Application & Detection The LS-9.24 controller is designed specifically for beverage carriers such as a six-pack carrier. With its expandability of up to 24 patterns and 24 valve outputs, one controller is all you need for complete gluing and detection needs. On-Target™, GapPro™, SureScan™ and RejectTrak™ technologies are all included in this controller.

On-Target™ patented technology takes combination glue application and detection systems to the next level by automatically correcting a valve’s glue line. Glue lines vary due to many factors such as changing machine speeds, glue temperature, glue flow based on viscosity and mechanical wear. No matter what the variables, On-Target’s closed-loop technology immediately inspects the valve’s laid glue line and communicates with the valve, adjusting the glue line to the specified location on the carton panel. .  | Sure Scan™ SureScan™ technology guarantees 100% inspection of all cartons at every inspection station. It monitors all trigger and encoder pulses as the carton passes each monitoring station. If an incorrect trigger length is detected, you may choose to shut down the gluer or eject the carton. |  | GapPro™ This technology monitors and displays the actual gap, in between cartons in real-time. By monitoring the gap you can set the narrowest distance between cartons and increase production (linear board foot / hour). GapPro™ also helps prevent jams when running small gaps and allows for quicker, more accurate on-the-fly feeder adjustments. This feature is compatible with all gluers fitted with a servo driven feeder. |  | RejectTrak™ Unlike shift register methods for rejection of faulty product, Leary was the first to patent a new method of rejection. RejectTrak™ technology tracks rejects from many different detection stations by incorporating trigger distance with pulse encoder inputs. This method of tracking allows accurate rejection of one reject regardless of its location on the gluer. We also tie into your compression section maintaining proper shingling of cartons. This method of rejection can be integrated into any OEMs rejection device. | |
