Extrusion Valve Options
Jet100 Valve
The Jet 100 is a compact non-contact glue valve capable of handling a range of low viscosity adhesives. This gun is ideal for applications where low or medium pressures are required and space is limited. Our manufacturing standards enable us to produce a valve capable of running at very high speeds with a high rate of repeatability. It is available with a ball or needle plunger.
Jet200 Valve
The Jet 200 is a precision, high-speed, glue extrusion valve. It comes with a micro-adjustable stroke for fine tuning and precision gluing. The unique glue path design allows for pattern flexibility at high speeds and maybe used with high, medium or standard pressure, making the 200 gun the fastest glue valve on the market. Low set-up and maintenance times also allow for increased efficiency.
The Jet 205 is also a highly accurate valve with a high level of consistency. The preset stroke adjustment minimizes operator tampering and damage to the ball plunger. It has a fast response time for pattern flexibility at high speeds and low set-up and maintenance time for increased efficiency.

The JetPak Glue Pot Replacement System provides a clean, operator friendly replacement for heavy, awkward and expensive glue pots. This system eliminates glue sling problems. The bracket configuration includes a Jet™ valve, trigger and optional glue scanner all used in conjunction to minimize installation and set-up time. A “cam-action” adjustment allows for easy cleaning and precise valve positioning. Waterflushing
Our water flushing system allows you to keep your glue valves and hoses clean and helps you maintain clog free hoses. This simple and easy to use system can flush a hose & gun in a matter of seconds.
This option significantly reduces maintenance time and keeps your system clean.
Glue Regulation Units
The Leary Universal Pressure System utilizes advanced glue feed technology via closed-loop communication. Communication between the GRU, pump and controller allows for real time monitoring of glue pressure. Pressure requirements can be programmed and maintained throughout a wide speed range.
The Leary Universal Pressure System eliminates puddling, glue line variation, glue pattern drifting and maintains pressure continuity, creating a consistent glue line pattern. Multiple options for glue regulation and pump delivery are available for specifc glue feed needs.

Our 1:1 diaphragm pump is well suited for systems of 4 valves or less with standard 10 foot hose assemblies (looms). It is a suitable companion to a Model 21C GRU.

All of our rejection options use our patented RejectTrak™ technology. Unlike shift register methods for rejection of faulty product, WH Leary Company was the first to patent a new method of rejection. This technology tracks rejects from many different detection stations and removes the exact failure from the line, without disturbing in-line manufacturing. Leary also ties into your compression section and stalls based on the number of cartons that have been removed to maintain proper shingling. Additionally, this method can be integrated in any OEM’s rejection system.
Rotary Ejector
Our rotary ejectors are designed to remove simple cartons out of a folder gluer at the trombone section of the machine. It has an 80 durometer molded disc that easily holds a rejected carton during removal. No specific carton gap is required when ejecting folding cartons. Each carton is thrown in a linear path straight to the catch frame. Cartons can be ejected at speeds of 2150 FPM, 650 m/min and 200,000 CPH because of our 10/15 millisecond response rate.
The knock-down ejector is mounted in the trombone section of the folder gluer and works well with all multi-fold cartons. This device is programmed to work with all Leary controllers and has a compensation feature which automatically adjusts the activation time based upon carton size, gap and machine speed.
The AK22 air kicker is used in conjunction with all Leary controllers for batch separation, reject kicking and to assist rejection while using a Leary ejector on narrow body cartons.
The durable and compact design ensures high speed performance. This device can kick cartons as small as 3” (75mm) at speeds in excess of 150,000/hr.
Some cartons may be too large or complex to eject from your gluer. In this case, Leary offers a spray rejection option. Our system will identify each carton reject by spraying the defective carton so it can be manually removed at the end of the machine. Our atomizer spray head will spray only the rejected carton. You may use a colored spray or a ultra-violet spray that can be seen only with a black light fixture.
W. H. Leary offers a software program that links your Leary controllers giving you production information tracked by the collection program. A variety of information can be acquired from your system for the purposes of improving production. Failures, Downtime, Uptime and many other reports can be sent directly to a PC or to an enterprise software system such as Infinity QS, Kiwi or SAP.
The Insight™ software allows Leary LS-9 systems to send near real-time statistical data to a central database. All data contained in the systems' production reports are sent through the Insight network, creating archived data and allowing tracking capabilities for basic or sophisticated production analysis. Standard production reports such as job tracking, production totals, total waste, down codes and defects are provided through the software. Custom reports may also be generated based on specific plant criteria. Each of the ten default reports can be customized by the click of a mouse, making the program easy to run and eliminating the need for any in-house programming expertise.
In addition to a variety of reports that you may access from Leary’s extensive selections, you can also set up an automatic daily e-mail that will send specified information to as many e-mail accounts as desired. Production totals sent to you will display individual production lines, shifts & failures and downtime reports that are viewed by simply opening up an e-mail.
